Ann Kent
Hi there! My name is Ann Kent. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A), soon to be LMFT and RPT. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Family and Child Sciences in 2019, and graduated from Converse College with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2021. I was previously with EMERGE Family Therapy Center in Spartanburg, SC prior to starting my own private practice.
I see a variety of therapy clients, however, my bread and butter would be clients ranging from 7 to 40 (aka: kids, tweens, teens, young-mid aged adults) dealing with basic life transitions, anxiety, grief, and neurodivergency. I love integrating basic talk therapy in with play, art, and experiential techniques to provide a safe place for you or your child to learn about their life and emotions and grow into whomever you or they would like to be.
